These precision ground needles are deflected behind the lumen so the primary bevel is approximately parallel to the needle shaft axis. This design helps to reduce coring upon penetration into septa, film, tissue, rubber and membranes. Secondary finishing operations ensure undesirable sharp edge media tearing is minimized. These familiar labware syringe needles can be used with any lab sampling equipment or dispensers using the standard Luer Lock system.
Typical applications include chromatography and NMRS procedures as well as micro sampling of air sensitive materials and specialty chemicals. Lab safety is enhanced with these anti-coring needles when septa contain compounds subject to potential combustion. The hubs and fabrication comply with the latest revisions of ANSI, ISO and GG-N-196 specifications to ensure highest quality and universal compatibility. Tubing complies with medical and laboratory grade ASTM-A908 specifications. Length is out of the hub. The materials used and manufacturing processes are all domestic.
