This smooth seamless capillary tubing is made with premium grade 316 Stainless Steel and is highly resistant to corrosion. This material is known for its high strength and is commonly used in HPLC and GC applications. The tubing has a heavy wall with a consistent inside diameter, which makes it ideal for use with chromatography systems and other high-pressure applications. Careful control of the ID surface ensures accurate separation and identification of the gases and liquids in chromatography samples. The Stainless Steel material has high ductility, which simplifies the fabrication processes and increases column life. It is also effective in a wide range of temperatures. The crimped ends limit post mill production particulates and debris. The tubing is coiled in a 3" diameter (approximately 4 wraps). Stainless steel capillary tubing OD tolerance is +.002"/-.000" and ID tolerance is ± .001". The tubing meets ASTM A269 chemistry and tensile strength requirements and is manufactured in the U.S.A.
